Supporting Women through
Pregnancy and Birth

Maisha Doula services has one main goal, which is to help fight birth related death and grief, one family at a time. The United States has the highest maternal mortality rate across the developed world. My aim is to bring life in all forms, to your birthing and postpartum experience. Whether that means speaking life into a doubtful situation or bringing joy into a gloomy room. I am here for it all!

I have over 16 years of experience in newborn care and a degree in early childhood education. I am a certified birth and postpartum doula and currently a student midwife. I am compassionate and soothing by nature. Childbirth and childbirth education is more then a career its a way of life! I eat sleep and breath (sorta speak) all things birth related! Not only do I have the skillset and knowledge but I am well rounded in my approach, as I tweak all that I have learned by following my intuition and relying on each individual woman's needs to guide my support.

I provide judgment free support, education and resources. I am the most flexible person you'll ever meet and I take joy in going above and beyond for all my clients. As a doula my aim is to empower every family with the tools they need and not to take power away from them. One of the hardest things for a family to do is to make informed decisions when it comes to childbirth, my job is to make sure you are well informed to make the right decision for your family. Followed by individualized Postpartum Care.
